JESUS ENCOUNTERS: Faith Is the Password to Your Miracles "... Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, 'Take courage son, your sins are forgiven."
Faith is a substance, an ultimate reality which consists of a tangible, solid proof. There is external & inner proof that shows you have faith.
Your faith is seen outwardly in what you say and do
Your faith is seen inwardly by God in what you think and meditate upon inwardly. "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer" (Psalm 19:14).
Both God and satan can have access to your inward thinking, so here you need to be careful... God knows always what's in your heart. The devil is only able to know what's in your heart if you think what is contrary to the word of God. It is therefore very important to line up your thoughts with the word of God!
Miracles, Miracles, Miracles... 2025!
In Matthew 9, the paralytic's faith is seen outwardly in going to Jesus despite being bedridden, helpless and in impossible situation. The paralytic despised his own conditions and worked hard to find people to carry him, disregarded what people thought and overcame many obstacles... He fixed His eyes on Jesus and not on his conditions, nor go by what his eyes saw outwardly. For the things that are not seen are more real than what is seen outwardly. So faith trusts in God and not in circumstances nor in the situations surrounding us. When you go to God in prayer, it is proof that you have faith. You trust God and that's why you went to Him in the first place. Now put your trust entirely in God who is so powerful, does the impossible and put your Trust in His word. You need to stop thinking that you do not have faith because you do.
To trust someone fully, you have to know them. To trust God fully, you must know Him. You get to know God by:
Prayer. Pray to God. For beginners, you may start by praying 3 times a day - where you set time to put everything aside and talk to him. For the mature, it is to pray without ceasing.
Dialog with God: Talk to Him and converse with Him in all that you are going through. Involve Him in everything you do. He loves it.
Read His Word: You want to know God? Read His word daily. At least 10 chapters a day in the Bible. Jesus is the Word of God.When you read the word, you are getting to know Him
Exercise the word of God: Your faith grows as you put the word of God into practice. When the Bible says to not judge people and you choose to not point fingers, you are exercising the Word. When you choose to not lie, to not gossip and to obey God's word, you are exercising the word of God.
