Time is money. Time is very valuable, therefore use it wisely. When you have money, you make a budget and plan on how to use it. He who wastes his money is broke and they cannot pay their bills. He who wastes his times or uses it unwisely will suffer loss. The Lord reminds us, “Those who wasted My time of grace that I have given them have died and are now in hell forever. Those who have used their times wisely, living for Me are with Me in heaven where they have their great rewards.”
Use your time wisely by seeking God first thing, early morning. “In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there” (Mark 1:35). When you start the day with God, you finish the day with Him. When you seek God early in the morning, He gives you direction for that day you are to face and you get a lot of things done.
Use your time wisely by not being lazy but work hard. Serve God with all your heart for now the time is short.
Use your time wisely by doing everything in its own time. The Bible tells us that “there is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven” (Ecclesiates 3:1)
Annual flowers are planted in the spring and summer time. If planted in the wrong season, annual flowers will not survive but die. If you do something in the wrong time you will suffer loss, so learn to do everything in its proper time. Let the time to pray be the time to pray. A time to pray is not the time to do phone. If you do phone while it was time for prayer, you will lose big time and you will not be in touch with God and you will not receive answers to your prayers.. For God to answer you, you must pray diligently with all your heart.
We are living in the days where electronics talk to us. It seems that the phone is always telling us that we cannot live without it. The phone tells us that everything is very urgent and must be done right away. The phone say to us, “you must answer this message right now; you must google this right now...” Do not let the phone control you. Do not let the phone steal your time with God. In this age and hour, this is a very important message. In this age of technology, exercise self-control; do not let electronics control you.
Let the time to read the Word of God be the time to read the word of God. If you try to do other things while you read the word of God, you will retain nothing and it will not benefit you. There have been times that you have read 5 chapters and at the end, you cannot remember at all what you have read. This happens because instead of focusing on reading diligently, you read while your mind was engaged in other things, you were absent minded and the heart was not in the room.
Let the time to worship be the time to focus on God, to adore Him, worshipping Him in spirit and in truth. Worship God passionately, powerful and diligently. When you let your mind think of other things while you worship, you will be out of touch with God and you will find out that the time has passed but you have not fellowshipped with God.
"THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS,
BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME.
AND IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME,
TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.” Matthew 15:8-9
The Bible tells us that if we worship while the heart is not there but somewhere else, we are worshipping Him in vain. Now is the time to begin the year pulling your heart into everything you do for God.
Satan the Thief of Your Time
Satan will come to steal your time. Satan will cause delay. Satan will attack with distraction but do not let him. Start your day early by asking God to help you use your time wisely and act accordingly. Satan will attack with distracting thoughts. Satan will cause you to be absent minded. Satan will attack making you lose your stuff and make you forget where your keys are, but do not let Him. Resist Him and remember to start your day with God by seeking Him first thing in the morning.
Wherever you go there you are. Wherever you go in your mind and thoughts, there you are! Wherever you go with your heart, there you are! Let your heart be where God has called you to be. Make God number one in your life. Make God number one in everything you do. Make God your treasure. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be.
Guard your mind, and guard your heart
The Lord said, “satan is a thief who comes to steal not only in the physical realm but also in regards to spiritual things. My children, guard what I have given you. Guard your spiritual gifts . Guard your dreams. Guard everything I have entrusted to you. Guard the words and promises I have given you. What’s not guarded can easily be stolen.”
